House-of-Worship Safety & Partnership
Church should feel like church, a place for families, kids, and community, not a place you have to worry.
As your next Geneva County Sheriff, I will build a House-of-Worship Safety Partnership, practical, voluntary, and built on relationships, not red tape.
Here’s what that means,
1. A direct point of contact in the Sheriff’s Office for pastors and leaders
2. Free, on-site safety walk-throughs, lighting, doors, kids areas, parking lots, cameras, and simple fixes that make a real difference
3. Real training for greeters and volunteers, what to watch for, de-escalation, emergency plans, and active-threat response
4. Pre-planning for big events, traffic, and quick response routes
5. Help applying for security grant funding for eligible nonprofits
